Wildcat Hollow Trail is a 15.5-mile hiking/backpacking trail located just north of Burr Oak State Park. It is in the Wayne National Forest. The trail is mostly singletrack, with no vehicles allowed. Dogs are allowed on leash.
This trail consist of a 15-mile loop, with an option of a 5 mile loop for an easier day hike. The trail follows ridgetops and stream bottoms, with several elevation gains and losses. The trail alternates between hardwood and pine forests with some scenic overlooks.
There are numerous campsites along the trail, but the only facility is a restroom at the parking area at the beginning. Most of the campsites are nicely cleared with fire rings and logs for sitting. There is no provided water along the trail. There are several streams that maybe become dry in periods of low rainfall. There are several road crossing where water may be cached.
