Description
Still Creek Trail is a very pleasant forest trail that begins out of Camp Creek Campground. The middle segment of this trail contains a short boardwalk that guides the hiker through a nice wet Cedar grove. There are a couple of steeper pitches at the beginning and end of the trail, but, overall, the trail is moderately easy. There is one section soon after leaving the campground that has smooth, sloped rock, which creates awkward footing for a very short distance. Head into the Camp Creek Campground and turn right at the bulletin board. Head to the end of the loop and park along the road (not in a campsite!). The trail begins at the bridge. Head across the bridge over Camp Creek. Check out for spawning salmon when you cross. The trail then climbs for 1,500 feet to Forest Road 32. The trail continues through a wet cedar forest with some boardwalk before dropping down to Still Creek Road. There may be even more spawning salmon in Still Creek, so take a rest along Still Creek before returning to the trailhead. You can also stage a car at either end.
