Description
This trail climbs over Chestnut Ridge from the park road into the cabin area of the park. Be sure to observe the numerous American chestnut stumps (they are rot resistant); the trees were wiped out by blight in the early 1900's. The park water tower(s) are the centerpiece of the trail at the top of the ridge.
