Chimney Rock Trail

The Chimney Rock Trail is well-maintained and can be accessed from the Lower Chimney Rock trail or the Thunder Mountain trail. At either end, look for wood signage with the name of the trail engraved on it. This trail winds through the desert with occasional views of Chimney Rock. It's often completed clockwise and makes a nice loop hike with Thunder Mountain and Lower Chimney Rock. About halfway along the trail, you'll climb around the back of Chimney Rock. If hiking in a clockwise direction, this section is steeper than the rest of the trail.
