Description
Although the layout of the trail is unimaginative (essentially a square), this trail affords some wonderful views of the impressive Baraboo Range to the north. The Green Trail is 2.6 miles long and follows a series of old roadways in a north-south and east-west orientation. This central portion of the old Badger Army Plant was heavily impacted by construction, as the site contained an extensive network of connecting roadways and countless buildings for manufacture of rocket powder. The Green Trail is a nice connector to the Yellow Trail to the north.
