Path Type
Point to Point
This trail splits shortly after the trailhead and crossing the Appalachian Trail. This course is a lollipop trail, starts with.3/4 mile connector to a loop, to the left (clockwise) which, for 1.5+ miles, is a trail made from an old CCC road from the 1930s. This path is a steady uphill northerly trek at an easy, low grade, the other direction (counterclockwise) is much steeper and loops around back to rejoin the CCC road, where it rejoins to the connector "stick" of the lollipop you hiked in on.
