Mena Peak Trail

Townsfolk speak of a place where you can hike to what offers the best views of our beloved downtown Mena. This is that trail. The trail is marked with with a sprinkling of red ribbon and is overgrown and thorny. Sections of it are unmistakable as a trail that has been here for years but has been recently forgotten in the age of 24 hr news feeds and smart phones. A good bit of the trail is over a boulder outcropping and requires a keen eye to track; be patient and hike with determination, but also use caution. The Mobile App will now lead you to the viewpoint, but it is best to do so when the weather is clear and the sun is shining, otherwise the hiker is easily turned around.
