South Fortuna Trail

This is a ridge trail that rises gently from the Fortuna Saddle to 1094' South Fortuna Peak, before dropping to the Suycott Trail. This trail is often combined with the North Fortuna Trail in order to visit both peaks. Mission Trails is often hot and brown, but in the spring, particularly after a winter of heavy rains, it can be wonderfully verdant. Accordingly, this trail is a 2-4 star trail depending on conditions.
