Bear Canyon Trail

Though there are a few steeper sections, there are no super challenging hills on this trail. Starting from the trailhead in Ortega Oaks, the trail ascends quickly up the hillsides. At mile 2 take a right to stay on Bear Canyon Trail, also sometimes called Verdugo Truck Trail. Pass Pigeon Springs and at Four Corners, stay straight to continue on the trail which eventually ends in Rancho Carrillo. Thanks to John McKinney, The Trailmaster, for sharing this trail description.
