Point to Point
This is now the official route of the Mill Hollow Trail - from the Logan River Trail to the point in Mill Hollow where the trail splits over to the Bridger Look-Off Trail to the right, and then from this point the Mill Hollow Trail has been redirected to end up in Spring Hollow. Higher in Mill Hollow (where the trail used to officially go, and still does but isn't maintained), the brush gets too thick and the avalanches destroy the trail, or something like that. Either way, the Mill Hollow Trail has been redirected to end up in Spring Hollow.
So, the trail begins by breaking off of the Logan River Trail, not too far from the Spring Hollow parking area. The trail immediately begins to ascend some nice switchbacks through small, intermittent forests and sagebrush patches on the hillside. Eventually, the trail meets up with the Bridger Look-Off Trail at a fork in the trail and then continues on to the left as it gradually ascends into Spring Hollow. Along the way, the trail passes from the sagebrush meadow into a lush forest with cliffs on the right-hand side of the trail, and some great views of Logan Canyon and parts of Spring Hollow (including the Crimson Trail) along the way. Eventually, the trail ends at a junction with the Spring Hollow Trail at a set of rocky switchbacks.
