Mahana Ridge Trail

We parked near the beach. The trailhead is tucked in on the left side as you drive in. This is an out-and-back. It seems like most of the advertised scenic routes are a several-hour drive away from Lahaina (road to Hana). This is close to resorts and has some nice overlooks, but no really stunning destinations or features. That said, it is still a beautiful hike through greenery that changes dramatically as you go up. The trail goes much further than we did, so continue on to explore more. It was a great way to spend 3-4 hours hiking in a rainforest-like scene.
