Description
This trail runs approximately 1.1 miles. The first 3/4 of a mile or so are rolling, but with a few solid, but short climbs. This trail runs along the park's boundary, and there are a couple of nice homes visible from the trail. The last .3 mile or so represents some steep descents, with ~450 of elevation loss over that distance. Watch for the switchback as you near the lake - it is well marked with a double red square blaze, but there is an unofficial trail that continues straight, while Fox Ridge doubles back to your right and takes a steep dive down to Lakeside Trail for the last 50 feet of the descent. At the switchback, there is a point which provides views of the lake and dam.
