Point to Point
The trail begins at the end of the road. It travels entirely on a soft dirt surface which makes for a pleasant hiking experience, barring wet days. You leave the parking area on a small trail that crosses over a small flood prone area. It quickly heads up a small hill into a more open trailway. After a short distance, the trail turns to your left. Be mindful of signage as the open trailway continues into a small field and pond. After the turn, the trail forks, creating the small loop that takes you up the hill for a better vantage for viewing the area around. This is a great place to watch birds and enjoy some solitude.
Overall, this is a quick and easy hike that is accessible to just about anyone.
