Description
Dogtown starts off the western end of the Core Trail. It's also one of the memorable parts of the Dark Mountain Featured Hike. It's memorable because it's slow going in places where hikers must navigate over some monster roots. At the intersection with Lake Loop (#5), the final section quickly wraps back around to connect with the Core Trail doubletrack.
