Tanque Verde Falls Trail

A short, well-maintained trail leads from the parking area down to the stream bed. After this, an interesting, mile-long scramble over boulders in the stream bed leads to a pretty waterfall in a narrow part of the canyon. A scramble above the first fall leads to the base of a beautiful second and larger fall tumbling into a large swimmable pool in a grotto.
