Description
Begin by heading a ways up the man-made stairs to the top of the ridge before descending into the valley on the other side. You'll encounter a mix of some rugged bits, a few switchbacks, and some sustained descents through the forest. Then another short set of stairs up to a great view of the range below. Continue down along the ridge along a long fast section of singletrack to the highway below. From here you can call it quits or continue on to Molino Basin trail just down the road. Bug Springs can also be linked with Green Mountain above for longer days of hiking.
