Description
Hikers often link the northern half of this trail with the trail on the north side of the tracks, connected via the train track crossing and Genessee Ave to create a quick and fun 3.3 mile loop. The northern half of the trail is flat, dirt fire road with some sections full of stones and pebbles that feel like a river bed. The southern half is singletrack and has a small climb up the hillside just south of the creek bridge crossing. Trailheads are located at Genesee Ave across from the high school, or at the bottom of Bothe Ave. You can also access the trail along its length from the connection with the San Clemente Trail which crosses under Hwy 52, at the train track crossing which connects to the Rose Canyon Trail north of the tracks or from a short offshoot at the end of Regents Rd.
