Description
The Northern Yosemite / Dorothy Lake trail is a 105-mile out-and-back that traverses the northern half of Yosemite National Park. It extends north from Tuolumne Meadows to reach Dorothy Lake, a beautiful tree-lined lake at the northern boundary of the national park. This route passes through pristine wilderness with sheer granite cliffs, cascading waterfalls, high peaks, deep canyons, and alpine lakes. This route offers incredible scenery and excellent opportunities for backcountry camping.Dorothy Lake is a glaciated lake located within the designated Wilderness boundary of Yosemite National Park.
