The trailhead for this beautiful route is located just off Snowmass Creek Rd, and the trail heads southwest along the Snowmass Creek.
The trail is heavily trafficked and easy to follow. Visitors will make a long, steady climb to Snowmass Lake meandering through aspen groves, long scenic valleys with old beaver dams, and eventually wind their way through dense pine forest to arrive at the lake.
