PCT to Windy Joe Lookout

The trail initially follows the Similkameen river along flat bottomlands for several kilometers at which point it turns south (and up!) towards the international boundary. At a signed intersection for Windy Joe Lookout , turn left and continue upwards to the summit for great views of the interior of the park. Return the same way until almost reaching the river again, then continue right to cross the river on a small footbridge and rejoin Gibson Pass road via a track on the north side of the river.
