Fifth Water Hot Springs

To get to the trailhead, take I-15 south to US-6 Exit 258. Take the road east toward the mountains for about 11 miles. Shortly after the road narrows to one lane, you'll see a turn of on the left for Diamond Fork. Turn here and continue on until you reach the Three Forks Trailhead.From the Three Forks trailhead, park and head through the gate next to the bathroom. Head straight up the trail. (Do not cross the footbridge on the right side.) Follow Fifth Water Creek on the right (Sixth Water continues on the left). Numerous pools and small rapids liven the scenery along with strange looking conglomerate formations. You'll smell the odor from the hot sulfur springs, the largest of which are located 1.5 miles up Fifth Water Creek, where a cold waterfall meets the hot bubbling springs. You'll know you are getting close when you can smell the rotten egg smell. You'll see the springs on the right-hand side along the river.
