After you have hiked uphill for another 2.5 miles among dense trees and vegetation, the trail begins to open up. You will now enjoy views of rocky cliffs and mountains. Continue uphill for 1.4 miles and you will encounter Otokomi Lake Campground. It is just 0.1 miles further to the lake. The shore of Otokomi Lake does not have a great beach area, but there is a small area to sit along the edge of the lake.
