Erwins View Trail

Starting from the parking lot, you pass the visitor center and head along, above the Linville River on a gravel path. About a third of a mile in you can drop down to the upper falls. From here the trail become a dirt path and heads up and left. There are three well-constructed viewpoints with wide views of the gorge and the waterfalls.
