Pickett Loop Trail

This is a nice and easy loop (depending on which way you start) that begins at either the Boswell Campground (signage there points to a spur) or Fort Henry Trailhead. This is one of the easier trails in this area, and you'll get some nice views of the lake as well as the remains of the old farmsteads that dotted the area at the turn of the last century. You'll need to cross a couple of small streams, and there are enough rolling hills to keep the leg muscles working. Of course there are great views of Kentucky Lake!
