Description
After parking in the lot across from the Stevens Pass Mountain Resort, start making your way up a trail near some workers' lodgings. This steep trail will challenge you, but stop for rest and turn around to view the pass and a fresh view of the resort activities. Look for the left hand turn to the Lake about 3/4 of the way up or continue to the Skyline Ridge and double back. A small but beautiful lake awaits after a level jaunt through an airy forest. Skirt the north side of the lake and continue up to another point for a panoramic view of the pass and the Wellington/Tye Rd. area below. This route is an excellent choice for a winter snowshoe adventure!
