Description
This trail connects the main overlooks at Great River Bluffs State Park with the Kings Bluff Trail. Starting at the end of the park road, the trail heads north through dense forest, in and out of a few ravines with some reasonably steep but short climbs. After just a few tenths of a mile, a right turn takes users down to the first overlook. Coming back up that trail and taking another right provides another vista. The last overlook, to the west of the other two, is the longest out-and-back of the three. Overall, the trail is pretty gentle but undulating, great for keeping a rhythm while getting a few climbs and descents in.
