Mountain Lake Loop

Start at the Mountain Lake parking lot and head counterclockwise around the lake. For the most part the trail is flat to rolling with very few significant climbs. Less than a mile into the trail you'll come to the southernmost point of the lake marked by a dam and small bridge. Turn left at the end of the bridge and then stay left beside the lake. Following the lake rolling northwards. At the northern point of the lake the trail will depart from the lake for a short distance to avoid a jutting land form and you'll approach an intersection. Turn left and the trial will head back towards the lake. Continue south on a flat trail until you come to a small parking lot and campground. Continue along the road a short distance back to your starting point.
