Point to Point
For folks looking for a loop hike, head down Rattlesnake Canyon Trail and turn right at the wash to head up the northern stretch of Rattlesnake Canyon on this trail. The trail will wind along the canyon floor wash.
After 1.35 miles, the trail heads up the nose of one of the canyon bluffs for a steep climb back to the desert floor. From here, the trail continues north and east to merge with the Guadalupe Ridge Trail, which can be taken east for just under two miles back to Desert Loop Road.
Turn right (west) on the road, and head back 1.2 miles to the Rattlesnake Canyon parking area.
