Description
This trail begins in a restored grassland that hosts numerous native wildflowers and supports many diverse species of birds and pollinators. It joins a forest road as it winds back towards a small pond. Look for evidence of the history of the area in the large oak trees and the many cedars. On a good day, the beaver in the pond is quite friendly and will pose for photos.
