Description
This trail is only accessible from the I-15 rest area heading northbound. From the rest area, you can access the trail on the east side of the parking lot. The trail loops around an old lava flow. The flow has quite a bit of vegetation now, which creates a unique color palette. There are numerous interpretive signs that talk about the geology, history, and biology of the area.
