Description
Beginning on the trail, signs will direct you based on the day of week. Remember to go opposite the bike traffic. The trails are very well marked at each intersection. Just remember for your entire run because the route will double back on itself. The trails are mostly smooth with some roots and rocks to navigate, so keep your maximum soled shoes in the closet. You begin on the Orange trail, then hop on a connector to the Blue trail. Once in the trees, look for ferns and plenty of covering hardwoods. The highlight of the run is the frequent visit to the creeks and streams in the park. Although no crossings, the path leads to the creek edge for nice views, tranquil water falls, or cooling off.
