Vaughters Out and Back

Begin at the parking area on Klondike Rd. and pass through Vaughters Farm with grassy meadows and rolling hills. Head south and wind through the shade of massive pines through the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area. Continue along Klondike Rd. Catch a glimpse of the lichen, cactus, and wildflowers atop granite outcroppings. If you are feeling froggy, jump onto the lower trail and head down the connected trails, or go off the paved trail and into the rocky nature area.Continue down to the south parking lot in the Davidson Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. There is a restroom here. Turn around and retrace your steps.
