Pinnacle Peak

Drive east either from Longmire or Paradise on the Stevens Canyon Road to the parking area at Reflection Lakes. The trailhead is on the south side of the road. The trail begins with a gradual ascent but soon becomes a steep climb to the saddle where the trail ends. The vista from the saddle is fantastic when the weather is clear.The spot will appear as a T-intersection with trails going off to the left and right. These are climber's trails to the adjacent summits. Standing on top of Pinnacle Peak (the peak directly to the east) is possible with a rock/snow scramble up the ridge.
