Tubbs Hill Main Trail

Tubbs Hill is "must see" if you are in the area. The 2-mile loop follows the shoreline of Coeur d'Alene Lake through evergreen forests, around the 120 acre Tubbs Hill park. There are multiple off-shoots that take you to scenic overlooks that are great places to picnic or meditate. The trailhead is easily accessible from the downtown area and there is ample parking. This is a popular hike for locals, but the trail doesn't get particularly crowded.
