Blue Trail

Start the route from the parking area near the Britton Hill monument in Lakewood Park. Follow the designated trailhead into the shaded woodland. The path is well-cleared and flat, featuring a soft dirt and pine needle surface. Follow the blue trail markers through the native pines and hardwoods. At approximately 0.3 miles, the path turns gently to navigate the perimeter of the park's forested area before returning to the main park grounds near the picnic pavilions. The entire route covers 0.7 miles and gains just 14 vertical feet, making it accessible for hikers of all experience levels.
