Trail Overview

Difficulty

Moderate: Very easy mix of gravel and paved roads to Waypoint 04. After boulder outcrop, sandy road becomes moderate as it descends steeply. Washouts of road are possible after rainstorms. Use extreme caution.

Access Description

Take Highways 18 and 38 to the little town of Fawnskin on the north side of Big Bear Lake. Look for three fawn statues in the center of town that mark start of paved Rim-of-the- World Drive.
