And keep an eye on the sky (and the season), this route goes high into snowy peaks impassable until late spring and deep into Utah’s red-rock desert with its scorching summer heat. But for the well-prepared, this four-day adventure offers huge payoffs and unforgettable riding.
Route Details Include:
- The Dirty Devil is broken into 12 sections, but some are easily modified (for example, you could easily tack on a ride through Bryce Canyon National Park).
- Numerous natural arches can be seen either from the route or via side excursions.
- See “Pando,” the largest living organism on Earth. This Quaking Aspen grove is all sprouted from a single “tree” that has more than 40,000 trunks.
