Trail Overview
Land of Standing Rocks
Plan on a long approach to the start of this very difficult trail. This challenging Maze trail rewards riders with exceptional views of rock spires, including the "Doll House" clusters at the end of the route. Camp overnight for stunning sunsets and sunrises and enjoy a hike to the Colorado River. Make sure to read up on Maze area regulations.
Getting There
From Moab, take 191 north to I-70. Head west to Exit 149, then south on Hwy. 24 about 24.5 miles to wide dirt road on left. Reset odometer. Head southeast following signs to Hans Flat Ranger Station. Bear right at information kiosk at 24.5 miles, stay left at Ekker Ranch turnoff at 31.7 and right at 34.2. Ranger station is on right at 45.7 miles.
