This beautiful drive is over 10,600 feet above sea level, and there are some fun hiking and biking trails nearby if you want to get to a mountain top. It's simple to make this a loop by going back over La Sal Pass.
Head south on Hwy. 191 from Moab. Go about 7 miles and turn left on Old Airport Road after mile marker 118. Pass gravel operation and turn right on Spanish Valley Drive. After 0.6 mile, stay left on La Sal Mountain Loop Road and follow it 11 miles to Geyser Pass Road on right.
