Trail Overview
Green Ridge Road
The majority of this trail takes you through a thick forest with some meadows scattered throughout. This is a long and difficult trail known for being extremely muddy due to standing water in areas. There are some camping spots available on the first section of this trail. Don't forget insect repellent.
Getting There
From Fort Collins, take Highway 14 west about 50 miles from Highway 287. Turn right on Laramie River Road, C.R. 103, at Chambers Lake. Drive in 1.5 miles to parking lot on right. Trail starts at rear of parking lot right of vault toilet. This trail can also be driven north to south by either turning south off of Bald Mountain, Trail #9, or taking F.S. 319 south from Deadman Road, Trail #3.
