Trail Overview
Chihuahua Gulch
Grays and Torreys peaks tower above this short trail at 14,000 feet. Hikers often use the road to reach the trailhead. Stay on the trail and be considerate. Trail is closed from November 23 to May 20.
Getting There
Get off Route 6 just east of the Keystone Ski Area, following signs to Montezuma Road. There is an exit ramp for eastbound traffic, but westbound traffic must turn left at Gondola Road and backtrack to Montezuma Road. Head south on Montezuma Road 4.5 miles along the Snake River. When the road curves hard left, immediately turn left into a fenced parking area. Follow Road 260 north then east 2.1 miles to Chihuahua Gulch on left.
