Trail Overview
Blanca Peak
This is one of the best, most extreme trails in Colorado. You'll love the combination of scenery and seriously challenging obstacles. Take your camping gear and fishing pole and stay the night at Lake Como.
Getting There
Take Interstate 25 to Walsenburg and Hwy. 160 west. Just after small town of Blanca, turn north on Hwy. 150 and go 3.2 miles to County Road 975 on right. Head west on bumpy flat road past several open areas to camp, park and unload. Tight switchback and sign at 3.5 miles marks start of trail. Alternate way to reach trail is via Medano Pass, Trail #99.
