Trail Overview
Marble & Cottonwood Canyons
Open plains turn into mountains and winding wash bottoms on this scenic trail. Don't miss the hike into Marble Canyon, and if you can be in the park during sunrise or sunset, you're in for a treat. Only street-legal vehicles are allowed in the park.
For many years, this has been a popular backpackers' destination. The two canyons connect in a loop. The route is challenging and dangerous if you get lost. No permit other than park pass is required. Check at the ranger station in Stovepipe Wells for latest conditions and recommendations.
