Trail Overview
John Bull Trail
This trail takes you high above Lucerne Valley along a towering mountain ridge. You will encounter large boulders, steep climbs, and a lot of other people on holidays and weekends. You can take this trail in either direction. Green-sticker vehicles are not permitted.
Getting There
From Highway 18 east of Big Bear Lake, follow signs to Big Bear Landfill, heading northwest from milepost 58. Turn left before the substation and follow Holcomb Valley Road, F.S. 3N16, uphill 2.2 miles to F.S. 3N02 on the right.
