Trail Overview
Fonts Point
Most of this trail is mundane and easy, but once you reach the end you'll experience awe-inspiring views of the California badlands. Stay within the main wash the whole way and watch for signs. Vehicles must be street-legal.
History
Fonts Point is one of the most popular viewpoints in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Try to time your visit to be there before sunset when views of the ancient Badlands are the most spectacular. You'll gain a better appreciation of the geology if you stop at the visitor center beforehand.
Getting There
Take Highway S22 east from Borrego Springs about 11 miles from center of town. Look for a sign on the right near mile marker 29. From Salton City, take S22 west about 17 miles.
