This area is so much fun, regardless of what vehicle you choose. You'll need to be smart about where you ride if you aren't in a buggie or don't have paddle tires, as dunes do have drift sides where sand is soft. You can ride to your heart's content anywhere within the boundaries of the park. You'll find some great camping spots where you can soak up the sun and then watch the sunset. Don't forget your flag, OHV sticker and license. A pass is necessary for each vehicle.
From Baker, drive north 34 miles on Hwy. 127. Turn right on Dumont Dunes Road. Stay right at 2.8 miles heading towards fee station. Climb up to plateau and park anywhere.
