Trail Overview
Diamond Creek Road
This broad, dusty road will take you down to the Colorado River close to the western end of Grand Canyon National Park. It is beautiful, but not a match for the majesty of the main canyon. A reservation and a permit are required, as the road is owned and cared for by the Hualapai Indian Reservation. You can get a permit at Hualapai Lodge that sits across from the trailhead. The nearest fuel station is 7 miles away on Route 66.
Getting There
From Kingman: Follow Route 66 east 50 miles to Peach Springs. From Seligman: Follow Route 66 west 37 miles. Lodge is on Route 66 in middle of Peach Springs.
