Public lands comprise 1,252 square miles (70%) of the total land covered by this hunt management unit. The greater region is best serviced by Ironwood, Bessemer, and Clark Lake. The elevation of the region ranges from a low of 700 feet to a high of 1,900 feet above sea level.
