The trail leaves from the High School Trail heading north. The Wetlands Trail splits to the left and connects to Round Lake. Continuing straight, after 0.7 miles, the trail passes over Puget Power Road which allows access to Tradition Lake. The trail gradually descends and terminates at Brink Trail.
The route passes below powerlines and the path is relatively wide and smooth.
