Reno Road

This is a fairly stiff climb up a dirt road that climbs over 1300ft in less than 4 miles (not super fun for hiking on). The road starts Approximately 1.5 miles past the Deadman's parking area. From the parking lot, hike up Cement Creek Road, cross over Cement Creek on a large culvert, and switchback up. On the right will be a well worn but unmarked shortcut - take this or continue to the marked junction of Reno Divide Road 759. Go right and climb steadily for about 5 miles to the top of Reno Divide. From the top, you have several options. Trail 422 (Flag Creek) heads downhill due southeast. Trail 607 (Reno ridge) heads due south on doubletrack that eventually changes to singletrack. If you parked at the deadman's gulch parking area, Reno Ridge is a good alternative that will get you directly to the Deadman's trail/switchbacks faster if weather is threatening.
